Box Distribution is on Tuesday afternoons from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. and Thursday mornings from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. We can only offer clients food on Tuesdays & Thursdays during Box Distribution.
What do I need to bring?
All clients need to have their photo ID, if the address on their ID isn’t correct, then they will also need proof of address. They will also need to bring IDs for EVERYONE who lives in the home with them.
How often can I get help?
Clients are eligible to receive a box distribution once every 30 days.
What will I get?
Each distribution, clients will receive a box of shelf stable food items (based on the size of their house), an assortment of fresh produce, milk, eggs, and meat. All of the boxes and other items are pre-packed and clients will receive the same food items regardless of what time they arrive at L&F.
Do I need to arrive early?
No, there is no reason to line up early. All clients will receive the same food items (based on household size), regardless of what time they arrive at L&F. Once a client enters our parking lot, the whole process should take less than 5 minutes.
What if I need more food before it’s been 30 days?
If it hasn’t been 30 days since a client last received grocery assistance through our Box Distribution, then we can offer them an Emergency Bag (a bag of shelf stable food items that should last a family of 4 for a couple of days).
What if I can’t come during those times?
You can send your ID and a signed & dated note giving someone else permission to pick up your food. The person you send will also need to have their photo ID. We will not be able to give your food to anyone if we do not have a signed note.
